Rates below are per hour. Pri 1-5, Sec 1-3 lessons are typically 1.5 hours long, Pri 6, Sec 4-5, JC 1-2 lessons are typically 2 hours long. Actual duration is negotiable, adjusted based on student needs.

Your child takes two or more subjects with us, in any combination. Applies once at least two subjects each complete the qualifying lesson count in that month.*
This works two ways: students can share a lesson together, or you can refer someone you know to me. Either way, both students get the $20 off each month. The referral discount kicks in once the referred student completes four lessons, and continues for as long as both remain active.*
Same student, same subject, two or more lessons each week. Applies once the qualifying lesson count is met that month.*
* How the lesson count works. Each $20 or $30 discount requires a minimum number of completed lessons that month: 8 lessons for two subjects or two weekly lessons, 12 for three. Each lesson must be at least 1.5 hours. If we are the one who has to cancel in a given month, the threshold drops by that many lessons for that discount. It is reviewed case by case, but the intent is simple: you should not lose a discount because of something on our end.
Two children, both with weekly lessons. One in P5 doing Math and Science (two subjects). One in Sec 3 doing A Math, one lesson a week. Both children are siblings under the same account, so each qualifies for the sibling/referral discount.

Rates may go up slightly from one year to the next, usually in line with inflation. But if your child has their first lesson with me by 31 December of the current year, they keep the rate they started on for the rest of that school level.
A P3 student going P4 next year in 2027 who begins P4 lessons by 31 December 2026 stays on 2026 pricing all the way through P6, even if rates go up in 2027 or 2028. When they move to secondary school, they move to the current secondary school rate at that time.
Rate protection applies per level: Lower & Upper Primary, Lower & Upper Secondary, and JC are treated separately. It only applies to students who remain continuously enrolled with us.
A P3 student going P4 next year in 2027 starts P4 lessons in November 2026 at $40/hour. From January 2027, upper-primary rates go up to $45/hour.
Lessons are billed at the end of each calendar month for what was actually delivered. Bank transfer or PayNow are both fine. An itemised invoice in the form of a text message covering each lesson, the rate, and any applicable discounts will be sent ahead of time.
No. No sign-up fee, no deposit, no annual commitment. You pay only for the lessons we run.
Anything cancelled more than 4 hours before the lesson is free. For lessons cancelled less than 4 hours, the full rate will apply. Family emergencies and illness are handled case by case, with reasonable flexibility on both sides.
While we do not have any travel surcharges, for now our home tutoring services only extent to the West, North and Central regions of Singapore (Sorry Easties!). We will extend our services as we grow. For now, lessons for our students living outside of these regions are conducted online, with some living in Malaysia in the past years.
Not for existing students mid-engagement. Rates may be reviewed at the start of each calendar year and updated accordingly.
If we have to cancel a lesson, you do not need to pay for it, and we either reschedule or extend a future session. If your child misses a lesson with adequate notice, there is no charges that apply for that lesson.
Yes, our discounts are applied to your overall tuition package, regardless of which tutor is conducting the lessons.
Absolutely, should your child have Chinese lessons with Zekun for example and they have a one-off math problem, they are more than welcome to drop Allen a text! No extra charges.
